The Division of Mathematics is full of faculty and technology that makes math fun and accessible for majors and non-majors alike. Majors in the Division are in curriculums that have large math components.
Majors
This curriculum is designed to prepare students to pursue a bachelor’s degree in mathematics at a college or university. The mathematics faculty uses the ACT score and high school record to determine proficiency in algebra and trigonometry; however, deficiencies in mathematics requirements may be made up the first semester of the freshman year or in the summer prior to the freshman year.
