  • Webmail - User name and password are the same as what you used in Blackboard
  • Check out your Northwest grades - Your “Student ID” is your full Student ID number only (not first initial, last name, last 4 digits of your student ID).  Your Password is the password you were given at registration.
  • Click here to get to your H: drive -User name and password are the same as what you used in Blackboard. You will then get a message and click on Continue to this website "not recommended". Then enter your user name and password.
  • JAVA for WIMBA Pronto - You must use JAVA 6.7 for the WIMBA Pronto. Please note later versions of Java INCLUDING the current version do not work with WIMBA Pronto.

Viewers

  • Adobe Acrobat Reader - free viewer for pdf documents.
  • Excel Viewer - With Excel Viewer, you can open, view, and print Excel workbooks, even if you don't have Excel installed. You can also copy data from Excel Viewer to another program. However, you cannot edit data, save a workbook, or create a new workbook.
  • PowerPoint Viewer - PowerPoint Viewer 2007 lets you view full-featured presentations created in PowerPoint 97 and later versions. This viewer also supports opening password-protected Microsoft PowerPoint presentations. You can view and print presentations, but you cannot edit them in the PowerPoint Viewer 2007.
  • Word Viewer - View, print and copy Word documents, even if you don't have Word installed. This download is a replacement for Word Viewer 2003 and all previous Word Viewer versions.

  • Open Office 3 - is the leading open-source office software suite for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, graphics, databases and more. It is available in many languages and works on all common computers. It can also read and write files from other common office software packages. It can be downloaded and used completely free of charge for any purpose.
  • Java - This is a program that you may need to access some services on Blackboard system and NWCC's network.Note that it may conflict with JAVA 6.7 if you access WIMBA pronto.
  • AVG Free Anti-virus - Protection against viruses and spyware.
  • Avira Free Anti-virus - Protection against viruses
