Adult Student Scholarship
These scholarships are limited in number and awarded to Mississippi residents. Applicants must be 25 years of age and a full-time student. Scholarship applications are reviewed by a committee and awarded based on financial need, credit hours previously earned and academic achievement. Click here for the application form.
QUALIFICATIONS AMOUNT PER SEMESTER
Must be a resident of the state of Mississippi.
Must be 25 years or older to qualify for an Adult Student Scholarship.
Northwest application for admission and high school transcript/GED scores or college transcripts on file in the Registrar’s Office.
Must be enrolled in 12 or more hours and entering in the fall or spring semester.
Completion of 2011-2012 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required. www.fafsa.edu
Must maintain a cumulative 2.5 GPA each semester to retain the Adult Student Scholarship.
Up to $485 toward tuition and fees.
Student must have an application for admission on file with the Registrar’s Office. High school transcript or GED scores must be on file with the Registrar’s Office. Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) www.fafsa.ed.gov
